Decelerated Motors

Despite the continuous development of inverters, the decelerated motors opportunely piloted, today still constitutes, the most reliable and economic system to manage the rotation of the Tower Cranes.

Unlike the traditional induction motor, the Decelereted Motor, has an steel inductor fed with direct current and constituted by two nucleuses with a spool of excitement inside, and a steel shuttlecock  in which are induced some tides of Foucalt (also called passive current) that produce an antagonist torque to the motor's one, and whose value is function of the tension applied to the spool of excitement.

Applying the nominal tension to the motor will be available the whole starting torque -whatever the value of tension applied to the spool -. The speed of rotation of the motor (and therefore the torque) change according to the tension applied to the Deceleretor Motor spool, passing gradually to higher speeds of rotation, viceversa it happens when the applied tension decrease.
A electricmechanical brake complete the entire rotation group. As option, an free Jib slweing safety module, that allows, the free positioning of the arm of the crane, according to the wind direction.
